3:25+11s"If we cannot master our psychology, what's a big"
3:29+13s"a big issue in this world, every single day is is mental"

3:35+13s"stuff like that. And not saying that you have a mental issue, but"
3:40+12s"what can happen very quickly especially with"
3:43+13s"trading? Because trading is an outlet of,"
3:46+12s"fear, greed, anger, you know, passion, you know,"
3:50+10s"all this other stuff and, you know, greed,"
3:53+12s"And so what can happen is that can funnel into our trading."
3:57+12s"And we don't want that to happen at all."
4:00+12s"And what we're going to do is we're going to yes. Exactly. Great. Self"
4:05+12s"sabotage. That's the perfect word for it. We're gonna talk about"

4:11+13s"disconnecting from that and applying, you know, just our"

4:34+12s"I showed up tired. I was in a bad mood for no reason whatsoever."

4:39+12s"was just like, I don't know. I'm just not feeling it today. I jumped in a"
4:42+12s"stock, lost, you know, $2, lost another $2. I was down 4,000. Like, this is just"
4:47+12s"stupid. And I just was kinda down the dumps. I'm like, wait. This isn't"
4:52+13s"this isn't what I do. This is what we do here."
4:55+11s"I came back today and made it all back and, you know, proved that wrong."
4:58+12s"But it takes a lot of self confidence and self conviction, self"
5:03+12s"worth feeling to to do that. Right?"
5:07+11s"And acting on how we can do that. So"

5:22+13s"You know, truth be told, some of you are just terrible traders, and that's perfectly fine."

5:48+12s"And, you know, yeah, Amanda. I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything."

6:41+12s"self a lot of self worth. Right? I always had self worth because she always praised me, like,"
6:46+10s"can do it. You can do this. You can do that. You can do it. I'll help you. You can do this."

6:54+13s"just because you suck right now doesn't mean you're gonna continue"

7:08+12s"You're you're sucking you're just doing terrible today. Like,"
7:12+11s"best to just walk away. And, you know, that's that's when"
7:17+12s"your education part and, you know, what we're going to talk about"

7:33+14s"So, one, the first thing that I want I do wanna talk about when we are trading is"

7:45+13s"class. Right? I I pulled this slide. Yes. I I copied it and pasted it."
7:49+12s"Like a lazy guy. But anyway, I thought it was very important because"
7:54+12s"a lot of when a lot of times when we're trading,"
7:57+9.6s"you don't it's not actually you."
7:59+10s"Right? It's the market."
8:02+13s"But it is on you because you're acting on the market. Right?"

8:08+8.4s"when I'm"
8:10+11s"trading and I'm trying not to trade terribly,"
8:13+13s"most of it is understanding that"
8:16+11s"the market is either on my side or is not on my side. Right?"
8:20+13s"Very quickly, can we have, you know, $20,000 green days?"
8:24+9.5s"But when the market's not working,"
8:26+13s"that same exact trade can, you know, $2,000 loss."
8:30+12s"$2,000 loss, thousand dollar loss. Right? And you can really kinda build those up and"
8:34+12s"you're like, what the heck is happening with my trading today? Why do I suck so bad?"
8:39+13s"And the truth be told, it's not you. It's the market."
8:43+13s"But it still reflects back onto you because you are"
8:47+12s"trading the market. So we wanna make sure that"
8:51+12s"number one, we are identifying hot these hot and cold cycles."
8:56+13s"Right now, we're we're in between, and the reason I wanted to cover this is because we're"
9:00+11s"in between these cycles of,"
9:04+13s"these hot and cold markets. So I was"
9:07+10s"up about $10,000 today"
9:10+11s"and then I took this, loss on"
9:14+12s"where was it?"
9:17+12s"I don't even know what stock it was, but I took a loss and I started giving some back. So"
9:21+12s"you know, I I took my longs, sold. This isn't this isn't"
9:24+12s"going to be a review class or anything like that, but you can very quickly see how"
9:29+13s"once they started not work out, I backed off. There was no more trades after I backed off."
9:34+12s"Even on stocks that went straight up. Right? So I traded them"
9:37+11s"and then once they started showing backside, I was just like, you know what?"
9:41+12s"The market's hot, but it's not hot enough for me to keep going."

9:47+12s"we we don't want the illusion. Right? We don't want the illusion of of hotness."
9:51+12s"We need true hotness. So"
9:55+11s"I know a lot of you are gonna go off on a tangent with that comment, but"

10:04+12s"you know, ready to we're we're ready to"
10:09+12s"we're ready to take on the world, right, as traders. That's just that's just who we are."

10:21+10s"I wanna say all of you. I'm gonna say all of you."
10:24+11s"In this class right now. You're here in this class. You're learning"
10:28+11s"that something that we all have in common is that we're getting up every day"
10:32+12s"even after sucking bad and we're going right back at it. Right?"
10:36+10s"That's a trait that most people do not have."
10:39+12s"That's just that's just how it is. That's what it is."
10:42+11s"People will come up to me and ask me all the time,"
10:46+12s"like, hey, do you think I can trade? And I'm I just"
10:49+12s"I know in the bottom of my heart, like, I just"
10:52+11s"wanna say, no. You're you're gonna fail miserably."
10:56+13s"I know who that person is. But"
10:59+13s"I can't say it, I'm usually like, well, you know, it took me a lot a long time to really get at this."
11:04+12s"It it took a lot of energy, a lot of failure, a lot of effort, a lot of losses. Right?"
11:08+12s"So I kind of, what's up, Gina? So I kind of,"

11:15+11s"soften the blow on them and and tell them that."
11:20+12s"And, yeah, you've been doing bad for a year and a half. Remember, it"
11:23+14s"took me I came to warrior trading on a trial a two week or not two week trial. It was a"
11:30+13s"what was it? A one month? It was it was like a a"
11:34+12s"week or a one week trial or something like that for a dollar. This is way back. This is way back."

11:41+12s"from the from when I started, I was"
11:44+12s"already an educated, experienced trader."
11:48+12s"Wait you know, so let that one settle in. And it from there, it took"
11:52+13s"me another year to get my, badge of, like, a"
11:55+10s"k. So think about that. I came into this"
11:58+12s"knowing what I was doing and"
12:01+12s"you know, it's it's not to say that, you know, Gina should get it"
12:04+12s"tomorrow or she should get it in two years. If if she has the time"
12:09+11s"that she wants to spend doing this, then it's worth doing."

12:17+10s"a lot of us, you know, we're like, well,"
12:20+12s"you know, I I don't know. I'm gonna give it, you know,"
12:24+12s"two years. And if I can't make it in two years, then I have my cutoff line. That's perfectly fine too."

12:32+12s"know, I'm gonna go off on little bit of a tangent. I remember my a friend of mine, Max, a lot of you guys know Max,"
12:37+12s"You know, he was doing terribly. He was doing terrible. And then"
12:40+12s"he went on this run that I I could only even I can't even imagine"
12:45+11s"You know? And I was like, how did you do it?"
12:49+9.7s"'s like, I just kept going. And"
12:51+12s"it's not to say that if you keep going, will make it. It's just that self belief"
12:56+12s"and discipline and drive about, you know, our active"
13:00+13s"trading. So I don't wanna go on too much of a tangent because we got a lot to cover today."
13:04+8.8s"But you could see very quickly"
13:06+12s"when I started, you know, seeing that, alright, these are they're they're breaking out and then they're"
13:10+10s"fading. I was like, you know what? I'm gonna hold off."
13:13+12s"I started taking some losses, like I said, from 10,000 down to"
13:16+9.0s"thousand. That was aligned for me. Right?"
13:19+12s"To go from 0 to 10,000 very quick is one thing."
13:23+12s"To start giving it back and start chipping away at it back, that's a whole different market."
13:27+11s"The market shifted very quickly today. It went from hot to cold."
13:31+11s"And it only takes an expert's eye to understand that."
13:36+12s"A lot of beginner traders, they try to"
13:40+12s"always kind of go with this continuous flow state that the market is there. The market"
13:45+7.9s"is providing."
13:46+12s"That's not true. You know, especially a stock like this, yes,"
13:50+12s"did move up to 7 twenties, but if you caught the wrong candle even on a pullback,"
13:54+12s"it would still be very costly. Right?"
13:57+14s"Let's just say you you're trying to buy this candle up here at 5 nineties and it dips to 5 Right? That might be your day and you're done."

14:06+12s"that being said, we have to understand, you know, where our strength"
14:09+11s"are, what we can do, and what we can't do."
14:13+12s"And that's the whole point of, you know, trying to understand these"
14:17+12s"these cycles in the market. So I see NCRA."

14:23+8.7s"I I see everything."
14:24+8.2s"Where is it?"
14:25+12s"So it's halting up. But the risk to me right now would be this"
14:30+8.8s"false halts and flushes"
14:32+12s"It halts gaps up and flushes. Right? The the market right now is just"
14:36+13s"not there. It's not stable enough."
14:39+11s"We're seeing big moves, but the stability is kind of flaky. Right? You're like, well,"
14:44+12s"it's very touch and go versus seeing these long large sustained moves. Right? So"
14:49+11s"what we're gonna cover in our next slide is"
14:52+13s"is it the market or is it you? So"
14:55+12s"the market and the trader. So this is something that we have"
14:59+12s"to understand, especially beginner, intermediate, advanced,"
15:03+13s"you know, ultra noob, if you're on sim only, it's it applies to all of us."
15:07+12s"This is not a this is not, like, a class for specifics. This is a class for everybody."

15:14+12s"if it's if you can sit there"
15:17+12s"right, you'll fall under one of one of these categories. And I"
15:20+12s"I'm sorry if you fall under the wrong one. It's not to be a"
15:23+10s"a negative thing, but it's to be a self awareness thing."
15:27+12s"As people, we also take we we very quickly take"
15:31+13s"self awareness as negativity. When self awareness of an issue should be"
15:35+12s"you know, shown as good and building strengths. Right? Because we all have it."
15:39+9.8s"There's there no one's immune to this."
15:41+12s"So if you can sit down and and say, well,"
15:45+13s"the market is choppy price action. I'm not really"
15:49+11s"feeling it. We're we're getting these round trips on large percent moves."
15:53+11s"The average gaps are under 50%. Right?"
15:57+12s"False breakouts followed by choppy action. So you see a nice"
16:01+12s"curl up, a false break, and then rejection. You could very quickly identify that it's"

16:09+13s"and you can't see these market cycles, you're like, I'm not seeing that."

16:14+12s"Or you're not seeing a pattern. Like, you look at a stock like"
16:18+12s"NCRA and you're like, I don't see the pattern, or you're looking at a specific"
16:23+13s"bull flag and you're like, someone says, hey. That was a perfect"
16:26+9.7s"bull flag or pullback. And you're like, I don't see it."
16:30+12s"You're not seeing specifics in the market. Specifics being"
16:35+12s"what are you not seeing? Alright. Well, we're seeing round trips. We're seeing false breakouts."
16:40+12s"We're seeing big 100% moves, but they slam back down to, like, 40%. Right?"
16:45+12s"Or the opposite of that, we're seeing a 30% gap and"
16:49+12s"you're the one sitting there thinking, alright, you know, this stock's this stock's gonna this is gonna be the one."
16:54+13s"And it's like, well, you know, you oftentimes see a"
16:57+12s"trader like myself or John or Danny or someone come on and be like, you know,"
17:01+13s"at this. We're at 30% biggest gap. You know, today's not the day."
17:05+12s"Right? It's just not happening today. It doesn't mean it can't happen. It doesn't mean it won't happen. It's just"
17:09+12s"not happening right now. So we have to take that into consideration about"
17:14+12s"our our next approach, our next what are we doing next? What's our next step?"

17:21+12s"we have to go from, you know, a to z very quickly."
17:25+11s"Because the market can change very fast. Whereas,"
17:29+12s"when we're a trader that's having issues, we cannot see that very quickly."

17:38+13s"on. Right? I'm just gonna keep trading because it's the market, and I gotta just do it"

17:53+12s"the ATR there, true range of the stock, or or just anything."
17:57+12s"Patterns, false breakouts you're not identifying, that could be you."
18:01+12s"And that would be an issue. But these are issues that can be fixed. Right?"

18:07+12s"Not stopping out with small losses. I saw"
18:12+9.9s"some people online on YouTube. I was reading some YouTube comments."

18:22+12s"I saw people saying, you know, their their bag holding I don't even know what that stock was that went"
18:27+12s"huge the other day. And, I I'm holding from the top. I'm like,"
18:30+12s"what are you even doing? Like, what? Like, how are you holding from the top this"
18:35+10s"is down, like, four or five points right now from the top."
18:38+9.3s"What are you doing? And"
18:40+12s"you know, it it go it happens very quickly, but"
18:45+11s"one of our biggest superpowers is"

18:50+11s"Why is that? Because we can always get back in."
18:54+12s"We can always get back in. You know, there we have"
18:59+13s"the the PDT has now been removed. You know, commission free brokers exists"

19:05+12s"Direct access brokers like OceanOne or whoever you or Lightspeed,"
19:08+12s"you know, their their prices are a little bit lower now. You know, they"
19:12+9.7s"try to keep them low. So it's not like"
19:14+13s"that dollar trade should be tripping you up. Oh, it's holding me out. It's a dollar."
19:19+12s"Can't spend a dollar on this trade. Right? So you gotta really question your"
19:22+12s"your actions on that. Are you stopping out because you have fear"
19:27+13s"of of hitting that cell key and saying, I have lost. I'm a loser."
19:32+13s"Or are you not stopping out because you just don't know what to do or you don't know where"
19:36+13s"it's headed? Right? Those are two different very different things."
19:39+10s"We you have to recognize each one of those."
19:42+12s"Overtrading in hopes of being saved. Right?"

19:49+12s"We've all guys, we've all been there."
19:53+12s"Yeah. That one, I could save her. No."

20:27+13s"gonna be I was down. You know, I'm just gonna use whole numbers just because it"
20:31+9.7s"kinda grew. I don't remember the exact number."
20:33+11s"So you can't really hold me to it. But I was down around $30,000."

20:41+11s"I don't know. I was burning. I'm like, like, how did I do this?"
20:45+11s"And the the day was hot. The day was hot. And I'm like,"
20:49+12s"I saw the stock curling up. It was, you know,"
20:52+12s"curling. That's kind of in the pattern we're seeing. I'm like, you know what?"
20:55+12s"I I said I said some swear words. I said, f it. You know, I'll"
21:00+12s"long, and I'm gonna take I'm gonna I'm gonna put my whole account. It was like a $300,000 position."
21:04+12s"And that thing freaking rocketed, baby."
21:08+9.5s"I put on my freaking helmet, go in the moon,"
21:10+8.1s"and it saved me."
21:12+12s"It saved me. I ended the day green like $20. I was like, holy crap."
21:16+12s"That was, you know, there was just, like, a 50 k move."
21:21+13s"And then I've had the other side of that"
21:24+12s"where I was down, you know, $15.20 grand. I'm like, this one's I've done it"
21:28+10s"before. I'm gonna do it again."
21:31+12s"And that thing just picked me up and body slammed me"
21:35+12s"So you have to be very careful of that because"
21:39+9.3s"one of those can wipe you out."
21:41+12s"One of those can break bring you back to break even, of course."
21:44+12s"But look at NCRA. One of them can wipe you out. What if you jumped in here"
21:49+9.8s"you know, this pullback is gonna save me?"
21:51+12s"I'm sure some of you jumped in right here thinking that I was gonna hold and you're like, this pullback"
21:56+12s"gonna save me. I'm gonna go long. It's gonna go to four sixty with full size."

22:02+12s"And ninety cents. Right? So this is why we"

22:11+12s"You gotta get rid of that that thinking. It just doesn't work."

22:19+12s"I can do it to a certain extent and I will, but I know where my limit"

22:27+12s"$20, I might be down, you know, 4,000. I'm like, you know what?"
22:31+13s"I'm I'm calm, I'm cool, I'm collected, I'm not lying to myself,"

22:37+13s"I can maybe chip away at half of this. Right? And I mean, I can get that myself down to negative or"

22:44+12s"So you have to make sure you can identify those things. If you can't,"

22:52+12s"simply because you are here. This is a big one."
