0:00Alright. Welcome back, everyone, to our class. I've I've put together a nice little class for you. I as always, when I'm putting together these classes, I I take a lot of time.
0:10Most of my time is when I'm I I think when I'm out doing something. Usually, you know, I'll be out fishing with the kids or just out doing something, and my mind is like, alright. What can I what can
0:20I help what can I help everyone learn? What we learn together is most important. I don't wanna I'm not sitting here trying to lecture you or teach you, but I
0:30do like to sit here and teach and lecture and learn together. So I've got a red shirt on with a red screen. I got my red drink,
0:40a little caffeine to really get us hyped up for this red class. Right? So far, far more often than we'd
0:50probably like, we have red days. Right? How many of you have had a red day maybe this week, this year, this
0:59month? Right? Everyone. Everyone's had a everyone's had a red day. Right? And I I actually have red days all the time. I have red
1:09trades all the time. You have a red year. Yeah. And we're actually gonna cover this. We're gonna cover this. Stair stepping down for a year now. Exactly.
1:19So what I wanna do and what we're gonna do in this class is we're going to look at why we go red, the
1:28psychology, the trends, and what we can potentially do to fix that. Now I'm not going to give you a specific plan to fix
1:38that, right, because a lot of the issues when we're going red is, believe it or not believe it or not,
1:48is some sort of personal personal issue. I've seen a lot of traders go through personal issues followed by, you know, a lot of, you know,
1:58red trades. And the reason that this happens is all based on psychology. Right? If we cannot master our psychology, what's a
2:07big a big issue in this world, every single day is is mental issues, right, is is stuff like that. And not saying that you have a
2:17mental issue, but what can happen very quickly, especially with trading because trading is an outlet of fear, greed, anger, you know,
2:27passion, you know, all this other stuff and, you know, greed. And so what can happen is that can funnel into our trading, and we don't
2:37want that to happen at all. And what we're going to do is we're going to yes. Exactly. Great. Self sabotage. That's the perfect word for it. We're
2:47gonna talk about self sabotage and and disconnecting from that and applying, you know, just our our focus to trading and what trading
2:57is. And let me tell you, it took me a very, very long time to, quote, unquote, master this. I have
3:06not perfected this at all. I still have days where I yesterday, I showed up I showed up tired. I was in a bad mood for no
3:16reason whatsoever, and I was just like, I don't know. I'm just not feeling it today. I jumped in a stock, lost, you know, $2, lost another $2. I was down 4,000. Like, this
3:26is just stupid. And I just was kinda down the dumps. I'm like, wait. This isn't this isn't what I do. This isn't what we do here. So I came back today and made it all back
3:36and, you know, proved that wrong. But it takes a lot of self confidence and self conviction, self worth feeling to to do that,
3:45right, and acting on how we can do that. So without rambling too much, welcome to my class. This class is called The Red. I
3:55think it's going to be helpful for you guys. It's not going to be a one class fixes all. You know, truth be told, some of you are just terrible traders, and that's
4:05perfectly fine. But what we can do is we can try to suck a little less every day. I started out who's the worst trader
4:15in here? It was me at one point. Right? It was me at one point. I was the worst. I was like, what the heck? Ross is up $50, and I'm down, like, 12.
4:25And I am the worst trader in here. And, you know, yeah, Amanda. I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything. You can see you guys, chatting away. I love when you
4:35guys join into my my funny topics. But like I said, you know, I don't sugarcoat anything, but I
4:45often talk about stuff that most traders won't. You know? And that's it's it's never point a to point b for trading. It was it was a lot
4:55of and it still is a lot of trial and error and recollecting and falling and recollecting and falling and getting up and falling and getting up. And,
5:04when I do that, it kinda stems from my background. You know, I was I actually grew up a I was a homeschooled kid. I went to public school, and then I was
5:14homeschooled. So a lot of that, you know, I give a lot of credit to my mother of, you know, just a lot of self a lot of self worth. Right? I always had self worth because she
5:24always praised me. Like, you can do it. You can do this. You can do that. You can do it. I'll help you. We can do this. And it that's kinda what I wanna try to portray on you guys is just because
5:34you suck right now doesn't mean you're gonna continue to suck. Right? I sucked yesterday. I was terrible. I was terrible. And I'm like, what the heck is going on? But the
5:44the collected part of me says, look, Jesse. Yeah. You're you're sucking you're just doing terrible today. Like, best to just walk away. And, you know,
5:54that's that's when your education part and, you know, what we're going to talk about is really going to
6:04pull you back together and rein in before you you become this absolute trash ball in trading terrible stocks. So
6:14one the first thing that I want I do wanna talk about when we are trading is, this is this is a slide from my navigating hot and cold cycles class.
6:24Right? I I pulled this slide. Yes. I I copied it and pasted it like a lazy guy. But, anyway, I thought it was very important because a lot of when a lot of
6:34times when we're trading, you don't it's not actually you. Right? It's the market, but it is on you because you're
6:44acting on the market. Right? So when I'm trading and I'm trying not to trade terribly, most of
6:54it is understanding that the market is either on my side or is not on my side. Right? Very quickly, can we have, you know, $20,000 green days? But when
7:04the market's not working, that same exact trade can you know, $2,000 loss, $2,000 loss, thousand dollar loss. Right? And you can really kinda build those up and you're
7:14like, what the heck is happening with my trading today? Why do I suck so bad? And the truth be told, it's not you. It's the market. But it
7:23still reflects back onto you because you are trading the market. So we wanna make sure that number one, we are identifying hot
7:33these hot and cold cycles. Right now, we're we're in between and the reason I wanted to cover this is because we're in between these cycles of
7:43these hot and cold markets. So I was up about $10,000 today, and then I took this loss on
7:54where was it? I don't even know what stock it was, but I took a loss and I started giving some back. So, you know, I I took my long, so this isn't this isn't going to be
8:04a review class or anything like that, but you can very quickly see how once they started not work out, I backed off. There was no more trades after I backed off even on stocks
8:14that went straight up. Right? So I traded them, and then once they started showing backside, I was just like, you know what? The market's hot, but it's not hot enough for me to keep going.
8:24Right? It's we we don't want the illusion. Right? We don't want the illusion of of hotness. We need true hotness. So and I know
8:34a lot of you are gonna go off on a tangent with that comment, but, what happens is as traders, we show up every day,
8:45you know, ready to we're we're ready to we're ready to take on the world, right, as traders. That's just that's just who we are.
8:55And that's something that I would say for I want I want to be honest, I wanna say all of you. I'm gonna say all of you in this class right now.
9:05You're here in this class. You're learning that something that we all have in common is that we're getting up every day even after sucking bad and we're going right back at it.
9:15Right? That's a trait that most people do not have. That's just that's just how it is. That's what it is. People will come up to me and ask me all the
9:25time, like, hey. Do you think I can trade? And I'm I just I know in the bottom of my heart, like, I just wanna say, no. You're you're gonna fail miserably
9:35because I know who that person is. But I can't say it's I'm usually like, well, you know, it took me a lot a long time to really get at this. It it took a lot of energy, a
9:45lot of failure, a lot of effort, a lot of losses. Right? So I kind of, what's up, Gina? So I kind of needed to
9:55soften the blow on them and and tell them that. And, yeah, you've been doing bad for a year and a half. Remember, it took me I came to warrior trading on
10:05a trial, a two week or not a two week trial. It was a what was it? A one month? It was it was like a a two week or a one week trial or something like that for
10:15a dollar. This was way back. This was way back. And from the from when I started, I was already an educated,
10:25experienced trader. Wait you know, so let that one settle in. And it from there, it took me another year to get my badge of, a 100 k. So
10:35think about that. I came into this knowing what I was doing. And, you know, it's it's not to say that, oh, you know, Gina should get it tomorrow or she
10:45should get it in two years. If if she has the time that she wants to spend doing this, then it's worth doing. It's
10:55it's not something that a lot of us, you know, we're like, well, you know, I I don't know. I'm gonna give it, you know, two years. And if I can't make it in two years, then
11:04I have my cutoff line. That's perfectly fine too. But with there's never this set line. You know, I'm gonna go off on a little bit of a tangent. I remember my a friend of mine, Max
11:14a lot of you guys know Max. You know, he was doing terribly. He was doing terrible. And then he went on this run that I I could only even I can't even
11:24imagine it, you know, and I was like, how did you do it? He's like, I just kept going. And it's not to say that if you keep going, will make
11:34it. It's just that self belief and discipline and drive about, you know, our active trading. So I don't wanna go on too much of a tangent because we got a lot to cover today. But you could
11:43see very quickly when I started, you know, seeing that, alright, these are they're they're breaking out and then they're fading. I was like, you know what? I'm gonna hold off. I started
11:53taking some losses, like I said, from 10,000 down to 6,000. That was aligned for me. Right? To go from 0 to 10,000 very quick is one thing. To start giving it back and
12:03start chipping away at a bag, that's a whole different market. The market shifted very quickly today. It went from hot to cold, and it only takes an expert's
12:13eye to understand that. A lot of beginner traders, they try to always kind of go with this continuous flow state that the market is
12:23there, the market is providing, and that's not true. You know, especially a stock like this, yes, it did move up to 7 twenties, but if you caught the wrong candle even on a
12:33pullback, it would still be very costly. Right? Let's just say you you're trying to buy this candle up here at 5 nineties and it dips to 5 fifties. Right? That might be your day
12:42and you're done. So that being said, we have to understand, you know, where our strengths are, what we can do, and what we can't do.
12:53And that's the whole point of, you know, trying to understand these these cycles in the market. So I see NCRA. NCRA right now is is halting up. I I see
13:03everything. Where is it? So it's halting up. But the risk to me right now would be this false halts and flushes. It halts gaps up and
13:13flushes. Right? The the market right now is just not there. It's not stable enough. We're seeing big moves, but the stability is kind of flaky. Right? You're like,
13:22well, it's very touch and go versus seeing these long large sustained moves. Right? So what we're gonna cover in our next slide is, is it the market
13:32or is it you? So the market and the trader. So this is something that we have to understand, especially beginner, intermediate, advanced,
13:42you know, ultra noob. If you're on sim only, it's it applies to all of us. This is not a this is not like a class for specifics. This is a class for everybody.
13:52So if it's if you can sit there, right, you'll fall under one of one of these categories. And I am sorry if you fall under the wrong one.
14:02It's not to be a a negative thing, but it's to be a self awareness thing. As people, we also take we we very quickly take self awareness as negativity.
14:12When self awareness of an issue should be, you know, shown as good and building strengths. Right? Because we all have it. There's no one's immune to this. So if
14:22you can sit down and and say, well, the market is choppy price action, and I'm not really feeling it. We're we're getting these round trips on large percent moves.
14:33The average gaps are under 50%. Right? False breakouts followed by choppy action. So you see a nice curl up, a false break, and then a rejection.
14:43You could very quickly identify that it's the market. If you sit there and you can't see these market cycles, you're like, I'm not seeing that. I don't
14:52know what that is. Or you're not seeing a pattern. Like, you look at a stock like, NCRA and you're like, I don't see the pattern.
15:09You're not seeing specifics in the market. Specifics being what are you not seeing? Alright. Well, we're seeing round trips. We're seeing false breakouts.
15:19We're seeing big 100 moves, but they slam back down to, 40%. Right? Or the opposite of that, we're seeing a 30% gap and you're the
15:29one sitting there thinking, alright. You know, this stock's this stock's gonna this is gonna be the one. And it's like, well, you know, you oftentimes see a trader like myself or John or Danny or someone come
15:39on and be like, you know, look at this. We're at 30% biggest gap. You know, today's not the day. Right? It's just not happening today. It doesn't mean it can't happen. It doesn't mean it won't happen. It's just
15:49not happening right now. So we have to take that into consideration about our our next approach, our next what are we doing next? What's our next step?
15:58And as traders, we have to go from, you know, a to z very quickly because the market can change very fast. Whereas
16:08when we're a trader that's having issues, we cannot see that very quickly. We go everything is everything is just, you know, on. Right?
16:18I'm just gonna keep trading because it's the market, I gotta just do what what I'm doing. That could be a big issue. So when you're not seeing the specifics in the
16:28market, that being, you know, flow, rate of change, you know, the ATR there, the true range of a stock, or or just anything, patterns, false
16:37breakouts you're not identifying, that could be you, and that would be an issue. But these are issues that could be fixed. Right? I've had these same issues, and I fixed them.
16:48Not stopping out with small losses. I saw some people online on YouTube. I was reading some YouTube comments. I read everything. I
16:58a little a little obsessive, I guess, you could say. But I saw people saying, you know, they're they're bag holding I don't even know what that stock was. It went huge the other day. And, like,
17:08I I'm holding from the top. I'm like, what are you even doing? Like, what? Like, how are you holding from the top? The stock is down, like, four or five points right now from the top. What are you
17:18doing? And, you know, it it go it happens very quickly, but one of our biggest superpowers
17:27is stopping out. Why is that? Because we can always get back in. We can always get back in. You know,
17:37there we have the the PDT has now been removed. You know, commission free brokers exist still. Direct access brokers like OceanOne or whoever
17:47you or Lightspeed, you know, their their prices are a little bit lower now. You know, they try to keep them low. So it's not like that dollar trade should be tripping you up. Oh, it's holding me
17:57out. It's a dollar. I can't spend a dollar on this trade. Right? So you gotta really question your your actions on that. Are you stopping out because you have fear of
18:07of hitting that sell key and saying, I have lost. I'm a loser. Or are you not stopping out because you just don't know what to do or you don't know where it's headed? Right? Those are two different
18:17very different things, and we you have to recognize each one of those. Overtrading in hopes of being saved. Right? She can
18:27save me. We've all guys, we've all been there. Right? That that one, if I could save her. No.
18:36It's never happened to me ever. You know, we don't we gotta be very careful of sitting there thinking
18:46that this next stock, Amanda laughs. Maybe Amanda had the experience too. So maybe that next stock is you're like, this one is gonna
18:56be the one that saves me. And, you know, just for a true story, I've taken a trade down like this is gonna be the this is
19:06gonna be I was down you know, I'm just gonna use whole numbers just because it kinda grew. I don't remember the exact number, so you can't really hold me to it. But I was down around $30,000,
19:17and I was like I don't know. I was burning. I'm like, like, how did I do this? And the the day was hot. The day was hot. And
19:27I'm like, I saw the stock curling up. It was, you know, curling that's kind of in the pattern we're seeing. I'm like, you know what? I I said I said some
19:37swear words. I said, f it. You know, I'm long and I'm gonna take I'm gonna I'm gonna put my whole account. It was like a $300,000 position. And that thing freaking rocketed,
19:46baby. I put on my freaking helmet, go in the moon, and it saved me. It saved me. I ended the day green like $20. I was like, holy crap. That
19:56was, you know, there was just like a 50 k move. And then I've had the other side of that where I was down, you know, $15.20 grand.
20:06I'm like, this one's I've done it before. I'm gonna do it again. And that thing just picked me up and body slammed me. So you
20:16have to be very careful of that because one of those can wipe you out. One of those can break bring you back to breakeven, of course. But look at NCRA. One of them can
20:26wipe you out. What if you jumped in here saying, you know, this pullback is gonna save me? I'm sure some of you jumped in right here thinking that it was gonna hold and you're like, this pullback's gonna save
20:36me. I'm gonna go long. It's gonna go to $4.60 with full size, and now it's down at freaking $2.90. Right? So this is why we try
20:46to avoid that and why we don't wanna do that. You gotta get rid of that that thinking. It just doesn't work.
20:55As a, you know, quote unquote professional trader, I can do it to a certain extent and I will, but I know where my limitations are. I'm not instead of, you know,
21:05being down $20, I might be down, you know, 4,000. I'm like, you know what? The I'm I'm calm. I'm cool. I'm collected. I'm not lying to myself. The market's
21:15hot. I can maybe chip away at half of this. Right? And I can get that myself down to negative or maybe even up a couple grand. It happens. So you have to make sure you
21:25can identify those things. If you can't, it's probably you. Trading simply because you are here. This is a big one. I took off work
21:35today. I'm I'm here. Know, Grammy's got the kids. My wife's out. She's not going to bother me. She's not going come walk in my office 10 times to see if I made
21:45money. The kids are or the kids are yeah. The kids are out. The dogs are sleeping. None of the dogs are puking on the floor. Everything's everything's aligned up. I slept great. I ate great. This should be
21:55a trading day. Right? No. Just crickets. Right? Exactly. Carlo makes knows it. It's just crickets. So we have to understand that even though we've
22:04aligned all the stars, the market doesn't have to respond to us in in any way, shape, or form. It it will show us how wrong we can be every
22:14single time. So we have to understand that and identify that. So if you fall under one of these categories, you know, if you're in this blue category, you're on the right path. And be
22:24honest with yourself. This is, you know, this is it. The I would say trading boils down to one thing, and it's being honest with yourself. And that's it.
22:34Anyone can read these patterns. My son comes in here. He was three at the time. He'd sit at my desk and be like, oh, that one's green. I'm like, yeah. It was. It going it was going up. It was going straight up. Oh, that one's
22:44red. You know? So a three year old can do it. You can do it. It's just patterns. It's just, removing the emotion from this this trading. So, hopefully, you can see that
22:54once you identify the market side me pointing is, like, is my screen right here. Once you identify the market side, you can see that you're emotionally composed. If you say you
23:04don't know the cycles, you're not seeing patterns, you're just, you know, you know, you're all over the place, you could see that it's probably your emotions taking control versus the actual market.
23:15So is it the market or is it used the technicals? Oh, alright. So if it is the market if it is the market, reduce trading frequency
23:25and size. Right? We know how to act on this. It's very simple. What I like to do is I'll trade if the market's kinda shifty, I'll be like, you know
23:35what? I'll trade specific moves or I'll wait for a 100% gap or gain. Right? Today was terrible, but somehow I managed to make decent money. It's not every day like
23:45that, but you could see that focusing on the right one, you get the right results. So trading the theme. You know how to you know how to trade
23:55specific moves over a 100% gap or gain. Right? You know how to identify theme. What's been the theme? Well, maybe you're the trader that's still looking
24:04for AI news. You know, that's that was last week, two weeks ago. Another comment I see all the time. What is news that really gets the market going? And the
24:14answer is there is no answer because everything's always changing. This is why algos cannot figure this stuff out. So trading the theme
24:24only, news, China, oil, you know, just what's going on? What's the thing? Right? For a while, you know, someone would say a company would say, hey. We're having a reverse split, and the stock would go nuts.
24:34Right? So that was the theme. That's what it is. I actually believe it or not, I like no news stocks better than news stocks because no one knows where it's going,
24:44and I like the unknown. Not trading at all in the market. You know that it's just you know, I don't have to reduce my frequency or share size. I don't have to trade
24:54specific moves if if the market's very choppy. What I'll do is I'll just not trade at all. You know that. Right? And avoiding low volume. Right? We all know that one. Just avoiding
25:04those low volume kind of pops and drops. If it's you, this is where Trader Rehab will not save you. So this
25:14is kinda harsh, but it has to be said, and I think it has to be said because we can learn from what can be said and what can be learned. So, this is where Trader
25:23Rehab won't save you. If you cannot figure this stuff out like, reducing frequency, size, not being able to identify market, theme, patterns, all that
25:33stuff. Right? That's there's a lot of information there. I don't want you to feel defeated saying, oh, I can't do this because Trader Rehab won't even work. What I do want you to do
25:43is reeducate on specific patterns or themes listed. It was above, but it should say over to the left. Reeducate on patterns and themes and
25:53and how things work. We wanna what you have to do is not not so much understand why stocks move, but the mechanics of
26:03how they are moving. Right? Volume, price action, right, curls and patterns, and you're trying you're understanding the mechanics
26:12of of how they're working. Once you can do that, it becomes very easy to actively trade them or participate. And what I do want you to do
26:22is SIM trade only because if you if you can't see the blues the basically, the blue highlighted boxes on both
26:32sides, if you cannot, you know, depict all that stuff, you should be in the sim only. And the reason I say that is because maybe you're just not ready
26:42yet to have that skill of I'm still live trading, but I'm gonna go down to, you know, one share. Maybe you're kinda if you're in
26:52between, you're kinda falling in between. It's, like, crazy hot in here. Maybe you're, like, falling in between. Sorry. And,
27:02you're like, well, you know, I I I can I still get that stuff? You know, I can understand all that stuff. I know how to reduce size and stuff like that.
27:12I'm just not getting the patterns. Then that's when you can go into Trader Rehab. Right? Trading only the perfect patterns and stuff like that. But if you can't
27:21identify anything, that's when you should I want you to stay in the sim. Right? We got this nice new sim available to all of you. It's really cool. It's it's built right into your software.
27:31It's it's pretty sweet. I like it. I think it's a 100 times better than the Sterling SIM that was offered. So, you know, you have these tools at your fingertips that wasn't they were not
27:41available to me. Right? So there's nothing wrong with trading in the SIM. You can trade with one share if you want two. That's perfectly fine if you can afford that
27:51type of risk. And the reason I say that is you're already in a place of, you know, kinda hardship where you don't really know what's going on. Well, you know what's going on, but
28:01you don't know why you keep failing. So there's no need to risk real money. Right? There's no need to put your your neck on the line and, you know,
28:11just be like, alright. This might be the one this might be the one that works. So just be mindful of that, and it doesn't mean you're going backwards. A lot of
28:21times, everyone thinks, why? I can't go in the sim because I'm going backwards. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. You have to back up to go take a new fork in the road. There's nothing wrong with that.
28:31You know, these these are things that a lot of people don't touch on because it sounds too harsh or it sounds like, you know, you're failing, but that's not it at all. You know, you're everyone's going to
28:41learn different pace, different speed. So under the psychology section of is it the market or is it you?
28:50So what I wanna talk about is when it's the market, you know how to be content with not trading. You know that the market's not providing.
29:01That being said, you know when a spiral can happen if trades are forced. This is a big one. If I sat here today, I know I could spiral. I know I could go red. I can
29:11guarantee I would go red today. I can guarantee you. 100%. So why would I try to force trades? You know, we have to understand that
29:21it's it's so easy to take a trade, and there's a reason it's so easy because it's so easy to take losses. Right? If you kinda can enforce that no trading
29:31discipline, what you will then do is understand that you're choosing what's best for you, and that becomes a psychological thing.
29:41Right? People are trying to do something or get somewhere or, you
29:50know, you know, improve, it's very hard for human emotion to
29:59say, this is what's best for me, and I should do this because I know what's best, versus lying to themselves and saying, you know, I'm gonna do what this what's best for me and send my couch because
30:09that's what's best for me. Right? So it's it's very easy to blur those two lines and the truth of what's going to
30:19happen or what you should be doing. So knowing that a a spiral can be forced or a spiral will happen if I do force
30:29trades, you know, that's a very that's a very easy one for me. I can see it very quickly. You know, knowing your shutoff point. For me, because I'm an
30:39active trader and I've made plenty to keep me happy actually, shouldn't say it like that. I've made plenty to keep me afloat, not to keep me happy because I'm happy with with
30:48or without it. But I know that alright. Well, you know, if I take a loss or $4,000
30:58loss, it it really it doesn't even bother me, and that's where I like to be. I'm not celebrating when I make $10,000, so why
31:08would I, you know, be sad if I lost, you know, $2,000? So you we have to understand what's what is kinda going on in the workings behind that.
31:18Right? So how good when you're a beginner, how good do you feel when you make, like, $2? Like, yeah. I did it. There's nothing wrong with that, but
31:28how bad do you feel when you lose $2? It feels like a 100 times worse, doesn't it? Even when you're down like a thousand. Even when I was down
31:38like, you know, I just have like a thousand dollar ride day. I'm like, oh my god. I suck. And that right there, that that split second of lapse in
31:47judgment can can really fail you big time. Number one, you're you're saying that you suck. You're you're you're giving into that human emotion of
31:57failure, and you're saying out loud. You're confirming that you're terrible. Right? You don't wanna be doing that to yourself. So knowing that tomorrow is another day, we're very good
32:07at that. Right? You'll see Ross sit down. I've seen people crave on Ross lately, which I do not like. They're like, you know, he's just sitting. He walked away. He's doing nothing. That
32:16right there is what they should be learning. That right there is what they should be learning. If people complain about, you know, a trader not trading a
32:26100,000 times a day, then they're in the wrong place. This isn't warrior trading is not for them. You know, he has the patience to make millions and millions and millions and millions of
32:36dollars, and he puts it on display. So that's you know, you'll see me say, sitting, sitting, sitting. What I'm trying to do is because I'm not live streaming, I try to put it in your
32:46head that I'm not doing nothing. I'm usually, I'm scrolling through Instagram. I can't even show you my my Instagram. It's just it's very inappropriate. But, you know, I
32:56scroll through Instagram or I'll, you know, I drink some water. I have a a whole, like, gym in my office now just because I wanna be connected, but
33:06I wanna be disconnected. Right? And when I'm when I'm slightly there, right, I if I'm, you know, some weights or something like that, I'm like,
33:16yeah. You know, nothing's really gonna pull me away from these weights right now because it's not a big enough move. Right? But I'm here. I'm looking at questions and stuff like that. So trying to find
33:26something that that disconnects you. Right? Find something that disconnects you but keeps you within vicinity of of your your trading hours. Right? If you're sitting
33:35here in hopes and desperation, something, please move. Please move. Right? That's the that's the wrong way to be.
33:45Knowing that tomorrow is another day, befriending the chop and understanding that it's a trap. This is a big one. You know what? I see the chop, hands off. It's okay. You can
33:55chop away, but guess what? Not gonna be me. And in the end, that's you'll have that patience. So you'll you'll very quickly be able to
34:05understand this when you have these traits that you can see that it's the market. Alright. So when it's you, the psychology behind this so
34:15you've if you've hit these three red boxes in a row, you've landed yourself here, but this is how we're gonna fix them. Right? No need to trade and
34:25for the need of money. Right? So when you're sitting there, you're like, oh, I'm here. I I need to trade because I need money. Right? Right? We've all had that feeling,
34:35don't we? We know something that we can buy. Yeah. We can buy something. I always buy something. Right? So the need to trade
34:45for the need for money is a big one. Right? I need to trade for money. That's that's you don't wanna be in that place when you're learning how to trade. It's not for you. So if you are doing
34:55that, I need money now to trade from trading. Go make money somewhere else. Let trading do its own thing. I need to trade
35:04that so because I have to prove that I'm worth something every day. So I I have to trade because someone's asking me how's it going? How's your trading going? You know, how's that how's that trading
35:14thing? You know, how many people are getting asked that question? Are you making any money yet? How's that trading thing? Well, how how will you go to heck? You know, a lot of people ask
35:24me that. A lot of people kinda doubted me. Not not family members, but, like, other people, like, when I was, you know, starting businesses and stuff
35:34like that. When you gonna get a real job or you mean like you and be unhappy like you? I would never tell them that, but that's what I was thinking.
35:45But it's the need, you know, you don't we don't need that. You don't need those, you know, people telling you that stuff. It's it is what it is. People are gonna say everything, but you just
35:55kinda let it go. So anyway, need to be green for self confidence. This is a big one. Right? That person asking, you know, are you green?
36:05Because, you know and then it kinda goes in your self confidence. You're like, well, I didn't trade today. Maybe I'm not good. So you have to understand that. These are things that will
36:14make you trade without realizing it. Right? They're happening kinda subconsciously. And knowing the spiral only after it happens, this one's very,
36:24very dangerous. Very dangerous because when we're actively trading and you're down 2,000, you're down 3,000, you're down 4,000, then 5,000, and you're
36:34like, holy cow. Now you're down 10,000. You're like, how did I even get there? What happened? I don't even have 10,000 to lose. So that's knowing a spiral only after happens because you don't
36:44know when to stop or stop out. I got a little gift for you guys. It's nothing big, but it's just a little snippet. I believe it's coming up soon, but anyway, you'll
36:54see that in a minute. And then lastly is feeling down on red days. Right? Red days are going to happen. My honestly, my best
37:04days are days that I know that the market was terrible and I stopped trading with a small red day. Those are the days I feel the best. Isn't that crazy?
37:13So what that is is it's the self confidence in me the same way as I
37:23would when I crush a workout or I go to something fun with my kids, it's not a monetary reward. It's a self improvement reward. And
37:33when I when I stop out on a red day with a small loss, it feels like such a a a triumph of self improvement because I just saved myself, like
37:43and I did it. It feels better to me than hitting up $20,000 green day, and it and it always does for me. You know, that's something that I I really work on
37:53all the time. So if you've hit all these blue boxes at the end of this, what I would say is if you hit all these change nothing, keep going, you're you're
38:03on the right track, just maybe clean up your stops, you know, look at some charts and stuff like that. You're on the right path. The fix for the trader.
38:12Understand where the mental triggers are. What is something is usually triggering me mentally when I'm starting to fail? It might
38:22be right. I just had so no joke. I just had we the refrigerator broke. This and this stuff we've had for a little while now. I've been in my house for a little while now,
38:32about ten years. Refrigerator broke. The dishwasher's failing. The washing machine broke. The dryer's failing. And my wife's Jeep, which doesn't have that many
38:42miles on it, they just quoted me, like, $7,000 to fix some power steering system. And I'm like and this all happened in in no. They're they're actually all
38:51Samsung. And this all happened in, like, oh, probably, like, a week's time. I was like, holy cow. Like, how can so much stuff break?
39:02The so the the appliances I'll go on a tangent. Appliances are Samsung, and they've been going straight for, like, ten, twelve years. So I can't I don't even care. I was like,
39:12finally, they broke. It was more of, like, a funny thing. I'm like, holy like, it was just a joke to, my wife and I. Like, how long are these things gonna keep going? Like, how does this even possible?
39:22But anyway, so Samsung, you know, you got it. You you still got my heart, Samsung. But the Jeep, I will never buy a a Jeep ever again ever, ever, ever. Ever.
39:32So, anyway, they quoted me. It was like it was a it was a lot. And then there's another part of the Jeep that was broken. It was like another 4,000 to fix the heat. I'm like, this thing is just I'm just gonna throw
39:42it in the junkyard. And it's it's not that old. It's only got like it doesn't have that many miles on it. But anyway, everything broke all at once. That was that was
39:52the the end of that story. But so you have to understand, like, if you really need that money, that would be a huge mental trigger. For me, it was kind of just a
40:02joke, and I'm very blessed that I can say that. It's still gonna cost a lot of money, so it'll be frustrating, but I can laugh about it. So
40:12and the kind of the truth behind all of that stuff is if money can fix your issues, you don't have any issues. Right?
40:21Let's be honest. You don't have any issues. Yeah. I actually, Shelley, I actually built, the house that we live in, I built it myself, my my bare hands. But,
40:31anyway, so, you know, if if money, you know, if money can solve your problems, you don't have problems. You have you have modern problems.
40:41Right? Let's be honest. I have and I'm very thankful I have no problems that money cannot solve. Right? I have good problems. And you have to so what that means
40:51is try to flip those mental triggers. Right? Things are going to happen. It's it's kinda how we act or react to them.
41:01Write down a set of rules, not over specific. So I got a little gift for you. It's coming up. It's it's just small. It's just a little picture.
41:12Not over specific. What does that mean? So a lot of traders, when they're trying to correct their trading, they what they'll do is they
41:22they start with a box. Right? Start with this big box, and then they they make the box smaller with more rules, more rules, more rules, more rules, more rules, and then the box is like
41:32this big. Right? So when that happens, they've put so much criteria and rules and and things
41:41on what they have to do to trigger a trade that they fail anyways because there's just so many rules. Like, you have so many stipulations on this
41:51that you're you're failing yourself before you've even, you know, taken a trade. So that's what the not over specific rules, is. What I want you to do is
42:01revisit classes, and just watch live trading. Watch my classes. Watch Ross classes. Just sit and watch live trading. Don't actively trade. Just sit and
42:10watch. Very important because you might start to see a little bit more flow state when your hands are not on the keyboard. You're trying to multitask. Right? How many of you have kids and
42:20you're like, you're on the phone trying to do something. Your kids are pulling at you and you're making food at the same time. But then when it's all done, you don't remember any of it because there was
42:30so much going on that you could not absorb anything. Right? And my daughter will come up to me. She's like, hey. Remember you said you'd do that? I'm like, I don't even remember what happened
42:40ten minutes ago. Like, I'm I was so checked out. And what that is is it's it's like a you get overwhelmed
42:50with information that you have to process. So what you're doing is you're picking and choosing what information needs to be processed first.
42:59Right? And for those that are trying to SIM trade and watch Ross trade at the at the same time, they're more worried about their trade not going red on the SIM versus
43:09what they are actually taking in for information. So make sure you're you're applying yourself to the livestream and learning. Just sit there and stare. Put it on
43:19full screen and just sit there and watch them. That's all. And just sit and watch. And you can be a little bit more absorbed into that.
43:29One thing I like to do, a big one for me, is find a personal issue and fix it. Self confidence means self improvement. So when you have self
43:39confidence with self improvement, you roll that into other things in your life, in your day. And, you know, when you do it in your day, it turns into your week. Your week turns into your month. Your month turns into your
43:48year. And a personal issue is not, you know, I don't even know, like, simple stuff. It could be it could be in-depth.
43:58It could be my big thing is health. You know, without health, we have nothing. So that's usually my core. Your yours could be different. It doesn't have to be what mine is. Yours can be, you
44:08know, I wanna, you know, I wanna learn how to fish. I wanna learn how to ride a motorcycle. I wanna you know? And it doesn't mean it's an
44:18issue, but maybe you have maybe you drink too much coffee. Maybe you smoke too many cigarettes. Maybe, you know, just cut back a little bit, a little bit, a little bit. And what that
44:28does is you're like, woah. I did that. And what that in turn is that self improvement builds self confidence. Self confidence is gonna roll over into everything else you
44:38do. I have self confidence now when I trade. So you have that you're you're starting with that good foot forward, you know, aligned with all your rules and stuff like that.
44:48SIM trade to remove the pressure. This is a big one, but I don't want you to misunderstand this as SIM trade just to SIM trade because a lot of people, what they'll do is they'll
44:58SIM trade just to do it and say, oh, it's no it's not real. It's a SIM. It doesn't really matter.
45:12fear of loss, fear of taking the right trade, fear of taking the wrong trade. Right? You kinda fear yourself out of everything. It's more of sim trade to remove that feeling
45:21of, oh, if I fail today, it's not gonna be the end of me because I'm still learning. Don't trade for money or things to buy
45:31or pay for. That's never worked for me. I actually do worse. Like, if I'm like, oh, man. You know, like these these all these things that I pay for, I'm like,
45:41oh, a twenty k day would be spot on right about now. Right? Who wouldn't love that? So don't trade, you know, don't
45:51trade to to buy or pay for things or anything like that just because it can get pretty costly. Look deeper into why your
46:01failures are happening and learn. So the the last slide here is or the last line here is look deeper into why these failures are happening and learn. So
46:12your traits today, go back and look. Was it a false breakout? Was it, you know, a chase? Was it you FOMO'd in? Was it, you know, you got distracted? But
46:21you have to be honest. You can't be like, oh, the dog barked, you know, because that's on you. Let's be honest. I've, you know, I've had I've had two kids in
46:31my lap and taken a trade at an airport once, and I lost. I'm like, that was on me. You know, why why are you doing that? Just don't even trade. So
46:41you have to understand when to acknowledge your failure and be like, you know what? That was me. It's it's no big deal. You know? And make
46:51sure you learn from that stuff. Right? Make sure you learn from that stuff. So the little the little thing I got for you. So this is actually, what this is is this
47:01is my handwritten I have a handwritten paper of this, this exact thing. And I took a picture of it, I said, hey, Chad GPT. Can you clean this up for my class because my handwriting is terrible?
47:11And it's like, I got you, buddy. So, this is my actual list that I have on my desk. I was gonna keep it, you know, kinda wonky looking for you guys, but it looks like
47:21chicken scratch. So I was like, no. We gotta clean this up for these people. You know? They're they're they're here to learn. So this is what I have when I when I ever
47:31need to reset. And you don't have to screenshot because I got the file for you. Boom. Actually, boom. There it is. You can rename it if you
47:41want. So there it is for you. You can click that, download, save it, whatever you want. This is not what I want you to understand is this is not
47:51for you to follow. I want you to use this and make your own guidelines. Right? Not all of you have a,
48:01thousand dollar daily goal, but when I'm doing very bad, my goal is a thousand dollars. That's I just gotta make a thousand bucks. That's it.
48:11And, when I'm doing a little bit better, you know, $2,500, you know, that means 600,000 a year and so on. So the whole purpose of this is if
48:21we look back at what I was just talking about, that's basically everything in here minus the psychology. Right? The psychology
48:31is very tricky because it's things that we have to do to work on ourselves. But the way that I wanted to correct psychology on working on ourselves would be, like I
48:41said, find an issue, that is not monetary in your life that doesn't have to do with money and fix it. Right? Work out, you know, go for a swim, go for a run, go for, you
48:51know, a nature walk. A lot of you love nature. Right? Walk with your feet. How many of you have not walked with your feet in the freaking grass lately? Right? Probably most of you.
49:00You know? And it's it's stuff like that that kind of changes our outlook and our connection to, you know, what we're actually doing. I don't like shoes either. I never wear shoes. I'm like
49:10a hippie. But because but because, you know, psychology is is hard to put on paper,
49:21you know, self improvement is probably the best way to fix psychology because that's what it is. It's self improvement. What I would say for,
49:30you know, just your trading, you know, defining your trading, defining your you know, how you're trying to reapproach, this is my
49:40this is my my baseline. So when I'm sucking bad, I wait for the pullback. I identify high volume only. I
49:50use small size. I focus on the leading stock. You know, a thousand dollar my is my daily goal. $500 max loss. Very, very
50:00simple. Avoid extended stocks. It's so easy. When a stock like what was that one today? NCRA went straight up and
50:10started getting really extended. It's like, you know what? I see what's happening here. It's extended. Avoid it. Dips to EMA's. Right? Maybe you're a nine or a 20 EMA trader
50:19for a curl. Use the MACD for confirmation, not for entry. This is a big one because a lot of times people say, oh, MACD
50:29flipped. I'm just long. Right? It's that's not a trade. Buying flushes, breakouts. So it's not entirely flush, but it's
50:39avoiding it's avoiding the chase. Right? So this would be a breakout trade out of this range. Try to avoid that. Maybe you're taking the trigger down here, right,
50:49and then selling into the breakout. Maybe you're taking the trade down here and selling into the breakout. That being like a flush or a
50:59more defined pullback. It's not trying to me, that's how I read it, so that's how I wrote it, and I wanted to, you know, display it clearly to you guys of
51:08exactly how I had it. But, you know, it doesn't mean wait for this thing to slam to 2 nineties and then buy it. That's not what I'm talking about at all because that's not how I trade.
51:18But so that's what that means. It just means buy that that defined pullback. Right? So you can see wait for the pullback and buy in the flush, basically. So you're
51:28buying in that the lower channel to reduce your risk. Patience, discipline, risk management, protect your capital first, and that's,
51:38you know, that's this is my base. I always bring this out when I'm doing really bad because trading is that easy. We just have to,
51:48you know, take our our funk that we make up in our brains out of it. So did you guys enjoy this
51:57class? I hope. Hope you enjoyed this class. It was a a little bit longer of a class, in terms of slides and information and stuff like that. I
52:07do so, hopefully I think you got that file. I do want to, where is this? I do want to copy.
52:17If you guys so if you guys are are enjoying all of this, which I'm almost sure all of you are, if you could do me a favor, if you want if you want,
52:27and go over to Trustpilot and leave a good review on warrior trading or, you know, whatever you think. I'm not gonna tell you you have to leave a good review, but I think
52:37that the reviews will probably be good. You can use this code, 072926. It's today's date for the code for
52:47that. And, you know, what that does is it really helps because there's people, you know, there's people out there, they they they'll do something and then they trash. They'll
52:57there's some bad reviews. They'll trash it. And and it's they've literally looked at warrior trading for a day and they're like, oh, you can't copy trade this guy. Not worth it. I'm like, like, what are you doing? Like, that's
53:07that's not what this is. So if you can, take the time for me and and Ross and and everyone here and and keep Warrior the the, you know,
53:17polished diamond that it is that we've really worked hard to make it, you know, perfect for you guys. So as always, I really appreciate each and every one of you for
53:26joining me in these classes. You know, I I do have to thank all of you because without you guys, I would not be able to reflect on writing these classes,
53:37and that in turn improves my trading as well. So I really appreciate all your questions and and comments and you guys being here. Without you, I would not be able to be here
53:46and teach and and talk with you every single day. So that's going to be it for me. I will get this recording uploaded for you guys. For if you want to rewatch it, that's perfectly
53:56fine. If you have any questions at all, you can reach out to me, obviously, on Instagram. I'm always there. I do I do have a TikTok as well. You can check me out there. Just
54:06watch out. Be careful of the fakers and stuff like that because there's a lot of fake accounts. But, you know, always answer questions. You can send them into team@warriortrading.com as well, you know, and
54:16they'll they'll forward them to me, and I can respond that way as well. So, again, that's going to be it for me, and I will catch you all next time.
